There has been a large law enforcement presence on Hillsboro Street and Ridgecrest Road, near where the child was last seen, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. That’s in a part of Aiken near Edgefield Highway and Reynolds Pond Road, about 1.5 miles from Reynolds Pond.

There was no word if Javeayah was alone when she was last seen. The sheriff’s office did not say if foul play is suspected in her disappearance.

The sheriff’s office said that Javeayah was last seen wearing pink Mini Mouse pajamas, crocs and has pink hair braids.

Anyone who sees Javeayah is asked to immediately call 911.

The sheriff’s office said it greatly appreciates the calls, messages and anyone who has shown up to help find the little girl, but asked people to stay away from the area to avoid interfering with the search plan.

“Once we get to the point to where we are needing volunteers and community organizations to assist with the search, we will keep you posted when that time comes,” the sheriff’s office said in the release. “As always, thank you for your support and wiliness to assist in finding Javeayah.”
