Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office said Rahmel Warren, 33, has been arrested and charged with attempted murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of certain crimes.

The suspect was being sought in connection with a June 1 incident in which a 19-year-old male was shot. Authorities said in a June 22 release that, just before 5 p.m. June 1, deputies responded to a call about a shooting at a Baugh Street home. At the home deputies found a victim who had been shot in the upper body.
