A search is underway in South Carolina for a missing man.
Mark Algie Holliday was publicly reported missing Monday by the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office. The 57-year-old’s family hasn’t heard from him in almost a week, the sheriff’s office said in a news release.

Holliday was last seen by his family July 1, after informing his them that he was going to a doctor’s appointment in Columbia, according to the release. Relatives last had contact with Holliday in a July 2 phone call, but haven’t been able to get in touch with him since, the sheriff’s office said.
Holliday was driving a burgundy-colored 2010 Chevrolet Camaro with red wheels, and a South Carolina license plate that reads 426CHH, according to the release. The car was last spotted at about 11 p.m. on July 2 in the 3600 block of Broad River Road in Columbia, the sheriff’s office said. That’s near the intersection with St Andrews Road.
There was no word if Holliday was alone when he went missing. The sheriff’s office did not say if foul play was suspected in Holliday’s disappearance.
Holliday is known to have a mental health condition, according to the release. Further information about his condition was not available.

The sheriff’s office described Holliday as a 6-foot tall, 200-pound man with brown eyes and black hair.
