A search is underway for a man who’s wanted following violent crimes, according to the Columbia Police Department.

Kamron Kardieze Gibson-Brown, 27, was reported as wanted by police Monday. Gibson-Brown is wanted in connection with a violent incident that occurred March 29, police said in a news release.
Information about the incident wasn’t available, but police said that Gibson-Brown is facing multiple charges, including attempted murder, assault & battery and weapons possession.
There was no word if anyone was injured, or a possible update on their condition.

Police described Gibson-Brown as a 5-foot-11, 210-pound man with black hair and brown eyes.
There was no word if Gibson-Brown is currently considered to be armed.
