Two people received minor injuries after being attacked at a Fort Worth park Friday morning by a man wielding a machete, police said.

Officers responded to Capps Park at 907 W. Berry St. about 6:15 a.m. The call details stated that a man was attacking people with a machete at that location, police said. An individual received a small cut on the hand but declined to go to a hospital.
According to police, another person was attacked by the same man about 45 minutes prior. That victim also received a small cut to the hand but refused treatement.

The suspect is still at large. It appears the attacks were unprovoked, police said, and the suspect may be suffering from some type of mental issue.
