Here\u2019s what followed<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>James Bines, 38, was charged with nine counts of attempted murder, aggravated breach of peace and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, jail records show.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The charges stem from a June 10 shooting at a home in the 1100 block of Harmony Street, police said Wednesday in a news release. That\u2019s in Florence, not far from the junction of I-20 and I-95.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Bines was involved in an altercation with nine people who were identified by police as his family members, the release said. Information about what caused the altercation was not available.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>During the altercation, Bines presented a firearm at multiple people who then ran away, according to the release. But on Tuesday, Bines was located in a neighboring jurisdiction, according to the release. There was no word where Bines was when he was taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>As of Wednesday, Bines was being held at the Florence County Detention Center, jail records show.
