This definition includes natural disasters,\u201d experts from <\/p>\n

It\u2019s a different story if your neighbor didn\u2019t take measures to eliminate foreseeable risks, and they can be found liable for your property\u2019s damages, on rare occasions.<\/p>\n

The act of God doctrine only applies \u201cwhere the natural disaster or similar act of God is the sole or exclusive cause of the damages.\u201d Courts have found that failure to take adequate precautionary measures to secure property contributes to the property falling on your house.<\/p>\n
