Grilling is one of America\u2019s favorite warm-weather traditions. Whether it\u2019s a quick dinner on the patio or a family cookout, millions of people turn on the grill every year. Grilling culture is more popular in some states than others, however.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According to a report from Innerbody, a health and wellness platform, South Carolina is one of the most grilling-obsessed states in the nation, and its residents are far more passionate about grilling than you might expect.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In their report, Innerbody analyzed Google Trends search data across all 50 states and the District of Columbia to find the states that loved grilling the most and the foods that are the most cooked in each state.<\/p>\n

SC\u2019s favorite food to grill<\/h2>\n

<\/p>\n

There\u2019s no doubt the people in SC are interested in grilling. Based on the report\u2019s analysis, SC ranked 3rd<\/b> in the country for its grilling enthusiasm.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

There are so many great slabs of meat, seafood and vegetables to slap on the grill that will taste infinitely better once it\u2019s properly grilled, but South Carolinians have a favorite food to cook that\u2019s unique to only the Palmetto State.<\/p>\n

Burgers are the top-ranked grilled food across the country, but oysters<\/b> are the food of choice to grill in SC, according to the study. SC is one of the few states that loves to cook seafood the most, with Hawaii, Massachusetts, Louisiana and Virginia as the only other states where seafood wins.<\/p>\n
