That\u2019s near the intersection with Rosewood Drive, not far from Exit 9 on I-77.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Officers found a woman who suffered critical injuries, and she was taken by emergency responders to Prisma Health Richland hospital where she died, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The Richland County Coroner\u2019s Office has not publicly identified the victim.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Police said that a vehicle was driving south on South Beltline Boulevard when it hit the woman and throwing her into an embankment.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>No other injuries were reported by police.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>No arrests were reported by police, who are continuing to investigate the crash, and said they are reviewing surveillance and other available camera footage to determine the circumstances surrounding the collision.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/usmovingexpertss.com\/?p=2358\">Woman thrown into embankment in crash later dies, Columbia police say<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Through June 21, at least 390 people had died on South Carolina roads in 2026, according to the state Department of Public Safety.
