The company\u2019s plans were listed as \u201cunder review\u201d as of the April report.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Lexington County records show the property at 5387 Augusta Road is owned by Drayton-Parker Companies, the developer of Parker\u2019s Kitchen stores. Land was being cleared at the site when a reporter rode by on Friday morning. The property is about a half-mile east of the Lexington County Library and about a mile-and-a-half east of the heart of downtown Lexington.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Parker\u2019s is a well-known convenience store brand in coastal South Carolina and Georgia, as well as in the Augusta area, with more than 100 stores in total.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/usmovingexpertss.com\/?p=271\">Man who shot at 6 Oconee County deputies sentenced to 180 years, sheriff says<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Parker\u2019s is known for all the convenience store staples \u2014 gasoline, snacks, etc. \u2014 but also for having a number of hot food items in its kitchens. That includes breakfast items such as fish and grits, biscuits and gravy, biscuit sandwiches and more, as well as lunch items including chicken tenders and sandwiches, pork chops and fried fish.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The company is in the midst of developing several stores in the Midlands area, including on Garners Ferry Road in Columbia, on Earth Road in Elgin near northeast Columbia and on North Lake Drive in Lexington. The site at 5387 Augusta Road is along a busy thoroughfare that connects downtown Lexington to Interstate 20.
