Andy Beshear is asking Sen. He added that as public officeholders, he and McConnell have \u201cmade a commitment to do our best to represent them and always be transparent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs Governor \u2013 and a fellow public official who understands the commitment we\u2019ve made to the people we serve \u2013 I am requesting the Senator provide an update on his current health status,\u201d Beshear said in a statement. \u201cAllowing speculation to continue in the media is not fair to the Senator or to Kentuckians, and my hope is that this provides him the opportunity to share the information in a transparent manner, direct from the source.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI wish him a safe and speedy recovery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Beshear first expressed concerns last week at his weekly press conference, saying McConnell\u2019s office needs to communicate more directly and that he hadn\u2019t received any information on the senior senator\u2019s health condition. Throughout McConnell\u2019s hospitalization, the public has received few details, which has led to growing speculation regarding his status on social media.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>McConnell, 84, was hospitalized June 14, but his team did not give details about his condition at the time, only saying he was receiving \u201cexcellent care.\u201d His office confirmed July 2 that McConnell was still recovering in the hospital after it was unclear if he was still hospitalized.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/usmovingexpertss.com\/?p=2896\">McConnell ally addresses \u2018rumors\u2019 surrounding the senator\u2019s health condition<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Beshear isn\u2019t the first Democrat to ask for more transparency from McConnell\u2019s team. Charles Booker, the Democrat facing off against Republican nominee U.S. Rep.
