Near the intersection with Nazareth Road the Toyota driver made an improper lane change and hit the Chevy, Ridgeway said. That\u2019s in the Red Bank area of Lexington County, near Exit 55 on I-20.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The Toyota flipped over and the driver died at the scene of the wreck, according to Ridgeway.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The Lexington County Coroner\u2019s Office has not publicly identified the Toyota driver.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Ridgeway said that the Chevy driver was not hurt, and no other injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/usmovingexpertss.com\/?p=4450\">Bank of America Warns Fed Strategy Could Hurt U.S. Economy<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>There was no word if anyone involved in the crash was wearing a seatbelt, but the collision continues to be investigated by the Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Through Aug. 2, at least 497 people had died on South Carolina roads in 2026, according to the state Department of Public Safety.
