Department of Transportation has announced it will close the Pine Street bridge over Congaree Creek in South Congaree for repair work, beginning on Monday, Aug. 17. The bridge will be closed until Sept. 18.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>While the bridge is closed, the state agency is recommending drivers head up Edmund Highway to Old Dunbar Road and then west to East Steele Street before reconnecting with Pine Street.
