That\u2019s in a part of Columbia between Two Notch Road and West Beltline Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Members of EMS also responded to the scene and pronounced the victim dead, according to the sheriff\u2019s department.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The sheriff\u2019s department said that Cloud and Whetstone tried to rob the woman, leading to the deadly shooting.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The Richland County Coroner\u2019s Office has not publicly identified the victim.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>In addition to murder, the sheriff\u2019s department charged Cloud and Whetstone with first-degree burglary, attempted armed robbery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>But those charges were filed after Cloud and Whetstone had been taken into custody by police.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/usmovingexpertss.com\/?p=4712\">Everyone Recommends the Honda Pilot. That\u2019s a few blocks from the South Carolina State House in downtown Columbia, about 3 miles from the English Avenue shooting.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Officers who responded to the Marion Street shooting found a victim who was shot in the lower body, according to police. Further information on the victim\u2019s condition was not available.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>No other injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Investigators received information about a vehicle that was suspected to be connected to the shooting, and officers soon located the vehicle and then Whetstone and Cloud were detained, police said. Both men were taken to police headquarters and later charged with assault &amp; battery of a high and aggravated nature, first-degree assault &amp; battery, possession of a weapon during a violent crime and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, according to police.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Despite the arrests, police said they are still investigating the Marion Street shooting.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>There was no word about a motive for that shooting.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Both Cloud and Whetstone were arrested Aug. 14 and booked into the Alvin S. Glenn Detention Center, according to jail records.
