Eric Swalwell at SFO to seize his cellphone, laptop<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Deandre Lashun Fuller, 28, was sentenced Aug. 14 to four life terms without parole after a jury found him guilty in the 2020 killings of Kelli Curran and Timothy Thompson during a home invasion.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Fuller was convicted of two counts of murder, armed robbery, first-degree burglary and possession of a weapon by a person convicted of a violent crime.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Circuit Court Judge J. Mark Hayes II presided over the trial, which began Aug. 10, and imposed the sentences Aug. 14. Fuller also received a five-year prison sentence for the weapons conviction, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<h2>The home invasion<\/h2>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>On the morning of Oct. 25, 2020, Fuller and another man knocked on the door of the victims\u2019 home on Walden Circle, asking for help with a broke-down car.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Curran and Thompson invited the men inside and while Thompson searched for information on his phone, one of the men pulled out a pistol and shot both victims multiple times, prosecutors said in the release.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>A third man was then called into the home, where the men stole firearms and a safe, the release said.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Despite being wounded, Curran called 911 while the attackers were still inside. The call captured one of the men referring to another as \u201cDubb,\u201d and Curran provided dispatchers with a description of the men, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Curran died that morning. Thompson died about two months later from injuries sustained in the shooting, the release said.<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/usmovingexpertss.com\/?p=4977\">After recent visit to Haiti, congressman wants TPS for Haitians restored<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Investigators with the Spartanburg County Sheriff\u2019s Office identified Fuller, Kenyatta \u201cDubb\u201d Lebby and Tyleek Rayquaun Johnson as participants in the robbery, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>An FBI special agent testified that cellphone data showed the three men\u2019s phones traveling together from Greenville to the area of the victims\u2019 home and back to Greenville.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Fuller was arrested in Greenville on Feb. 16, 2021.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Authorities found a distinctive rifle stolen from the victims\u2019 home in a car on the property where Fuller was arrested, the release said. The vehicle also contained items belonging to Johnson.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Investigators said images on Johnson\u2019s cellphone showed Fuller and Johnson possessing the rifle after the robbery.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Fuller had previously been convicted of attempted armed robbery, the release said.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Lebby pleaded guilty in March 2024 and received a 35-year prison sentence.
