In addition to murder, Hankinson also was charged with possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, according to the release.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>The charges stem from the shooting death of Reginald Young III, the sheriff\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n<p><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>On May 20, a shooting happened at about 5:50 p.m. at a home on Dallas Circle, according to the sheriff\u2019s office.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Deputies responding to the shooting found Young\u2019s body in the yard, the sheriff\u2019s office said. There was no word on a motive for the shooting.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>No other injuries were reported.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Information about how Hankinson was identified as the gunman was not available.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Members of the sheriff\u2019s office and the U.S. Marshals Service took Hankinson into custody and he was booked at the Aiken County Detention Center, the sheriff\u2019s office said.
