An autopsy will be performed in Newberry, the coroner\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n<p><!-- --><!--]--><!--[--><\/p>\n<p>Through May 25, at least 323 people had died on South Carolina roads in 2026, according to the state Department of Public Safety.
