The fluoride toothpaste came in flavors like bubble gum, strawberry and watermelon.

The Food and Drug Administration classified the voluntary recall by Pritam International Private Limited as Class II, which means the use may cause temporary and reversible health problems. Serious health consequences are unlikely.

The recall was initiated due to the manufacturing process, but it did not define what that means specifically.

Recalled products are listed on the FDA website and include varieties of Brush Buddies kids toothpaste, two types of Evo products marketed for teeth whitening and sensitivity, and two Aru products marketed for gum health and cavity protection.

Expiration dates range from November 2026 to June 2028.

No illnesses or injuries have been reported.

Pritam International Private Limited is based in Haridwar, India.

The FDA notice did not specify what a consumer should do if they have one of the affected toothpastes.

Typically, that means customers should throw it out and be careful you don’t buy one with the lot number involved in the recall and listed on the FDA website.

Recent recalls in South Carolina include cold smoked salmon, halibut and trout from Krasnyi Oktyabr Inc., Amazon-branded extra-strength acetaminophen, beef, pork and goat meat from Star Meat Delivery of Lucama, North Carolina, baking products from GF Blends and Gia’s Bettergoods Authentic Italian Lemon Alfredo Fettuccine.
