Residents on Mallard Lakes Drive are being affected by the break, and the town is scrambling to repair the damage, Lexington said in an announcement Monday morning.
“Conditions require the Town to utilize a subcontractor to complete the repairs,” the town’s announcement said. “The repair work will begin once all utilities have been marked. The work will require that the water main be shut down, resulting in an outage for many customers in the area. The Town will provide updates as the situation progresses.”
