The performance is scheduled for Dec. 4 at the venerable showcase in downtown Columbia.

Tickets will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Thursday, and will be available on ticketmaster.com. Various presale events will be held on Wednesday.

Ticket prices range from $59.50 to $129.50, according to the Township Auditorium’s website.

Mulaney previously performed at the Township Auditorium in 2023.

While Mulaney has three performances scheduled in North Carolina — two in Charlotte and one in Asheville from Aug. 7-9 — this is the only tour stop currently listed for South Carolina.

Mulaney’s performance will be the first part of a scheduled weekend of laughs in Columbia. The following night, fellow comedians, actors and “SNL” stars Steve Martin and Martin Short are slated to perform at the Township Auditorium.

Mulaney rose to prominence as a writer on “SNL” and several of his stand-up comedy performances are on Netflix. Mulaney has also hosted “SNL” multiple times, becoming a member of the Five-Timers Club in 2022. He has won multiple Emmy Awards for his work on “SNL.”

He’s appeared in movies and TV, and is also known for his voice work on projects like “Big Mouth,” “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” and “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish,” among others.

Mulaney can next be seen in the movie “Madden,” an upcoming biographical sports drama directed by David O. Russell based on the life of former Raiders football coach and longtime NFL broadcaster John Madden.
