There’s a search in South Carolina for a man who’s wanted after a teenager was shot, according to the Orangeburg County Sheriff’s Office.

Rahmel Warren, 33, is wanted on attempted murder and weapons violation charges, the sheriff’s office said Monday afternoon in a news release.
The charges stem from a June 1 shooting where a 19-year-old man was injured, according to the release. Further information on the teen’s condition was not available.
It was just before 5 p.m. on June 1, when deputies responded to a call about a shooting at a Baugh Street home, the sheriff’s office said. At the home deputies found the victim who had been shot in the upper body, according to the release.
No other injuries were reported.
Information about a motive for the shooting, or any previous connection between Warren and the victim, was not available.

Anyone who has seen Warren, or has information about him, is asked to call 803-534-3550, or the U.S. Marshals Service’s county liaison Deputy Sequoya Lee at 704-237-7890 or email [email protected].
In the case of an emergency, always call 911.
“If you have any information at all, no matter how small you think it is — call us,” Sheriff Leroy Ravenell said in the release. “We need to get this individual off the streets.”
