Sumter County Sheriff’s Office said in a release that a probe is underway after deputies discovered the partially burned body of a man.
Deputies responded on Saturday afternoon to a wooded area near Cedar Avenue and Industrial Road after getting a report of “human remains” in the area, the release said. After getting to the scene investigators confirmed the body had been “partially burned.”
