A popular company known for a wide array of pet supplies has opened a new store in a busy area of Columbia.

Hollywood Feed, which has stores across a host of states, recently opened a new store at 4345 Fort Jackson Blvd. That’s next door to LaBrasca’s Pizza and the Cross Hill Market shopping center that’s anchored by a Whole Foods.
“Columbia, SC — the wait is over!,” Hollywood Feed said in an Aug. 1 Facebook post. “We are OFFICIALLY OPEN! Come check out our brand-new location and spoil your furry friends. Whether you need high-quality food, tasty treats, fun toys, or cozy beds, we’ve got everything your pet dreams of.”
There are 177 Hollywood Feed stores across the U.S., according to data website ScrapeHero. The company has locations in 19 states, per its website. This marks the second Hollywood Feed in the Midlands. The other area location is at 5228 Sunset Blvd. in Lexington.

The stores carry a deep roster of pet supplies including dog and cat food, toys, treats, flea and tick treatments, collars, pet beds, crates, travel accessories and much more. Hollywood Feed says on its website that it strives “to provide the highest quality products and the absolute best customer service to pet parents across our communities.”
The new Columbia location is in a busy area where Fort Jackson Boulevard meets Devine Street, with Cross Hill Road and Garners Ferry Road nearby. There are a wealth of businesses located in that area, including the aforementioned Whole Foods, Cold Stone Creamery, Bojangles, Marshalls, Duck Donuts and many others.
It’s a high-traffic area, with about 11,000 cars per day traversing that section of Fort Jackson Boulevard, per state Department of Transportation statistics, and more than 32,000 cars per day traveling down Devine Street nearby.
