A South Carolina man has been charged with failure to secure required permits for selling beer or wine and for the unlawful sale of liquor.

Liston Swinton III, 36, was charged Monday, Aug. 10, according to a news release.
Investigators from the S.C. Law Enforcement Division purchased alcoholic liquor mixed beverages, beer and food from the Blazin Wingz restaurant in Mullins using state funds, according to the arrest warrant.

The location did not possess a valid or current alcohol license/permit, according to the warrant.
Swinton was booked into the Marion County Detention Center and the 12th Circuit Solicitor’s Office will prosecute the case.
