The Lost John Road bridge over Cabin Creek in Richland County will close Monday, Aug. 24, for repairs, according to the S.C. Department of Transportation. The Lower Richland bridge in the Hopkins area will stay closed for roughly 11 weeks.

SCDOT said the bridge should reopen by Nov. 6, weather permitting. A detour will be in place during the closure. Lost John Road will remain open to local traffic, except at the bridge crossing.
