A Lexington County man was / sentenced with more prison time after robbing and killing two people in the span of one month and two days, according to the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.

Allon Adams, 25, was sentenced to 30 years for the death of Devon Tricoche in 2023, following a life sentence for the murder of Tony Etheredge Jr., 35, according to a news release. Adams pled guilty to Tricoche’s murder on July 17 and will serve 30 years concurrent to his life sentence.
“With this life sentence and additional concurrent term, Allon Adams is held fully accountable for the violence he inflicted,” 11 Circuit Solicitor Rick Hubbard said in the release.
Over the course of one month and two days, Adams and a co-defendant robbed two men before shooting and killing them, according to prosecutors.
The first incident happened on Nov. 28, 2023, when Adams and his unnamed co-defendant — in a planned attack – shot and killed Tricoche during an armed robbery near Tabernacle Baptist Church in Leesville, the release said. After taking Tricoche’s personal belongings, Adams took the victim’s Kia Soul and disposed of the deceased at a boat landing at 1036 New Holland Road, according to the release.
An autopsy revealed that Tricoche had sustained twelve gunshot wounds before his body was discarded, the release said.

Adams later abandoned Tricoche’s Kia at Rish Road in Leesville and attempted to destroy evidence inside the car by using cleaning products, according to the release.
As an investigation into Tricoche’s death was underway, Adams and the same co-defendant devised another attack on Etheredge on Dec. 30, 2023, the release said.
Etheredge was shot and killed by Adams in the Leesville area, before Adams and his co-defendant robbed the 35-year-old of his 2014 Toyota Tacoma, the release said.
Etheredge’s body was thrown over a bridge into Black Creek, near Pelion, according to the release.
Adams is not eligible for parole under South Carolina law and will remain in prison for life, the release said.
