The president is campaigning with Sen. Darline Graham in her race against Rep. Ralph Norman for the Republican South Carolina Special Primary Election Runoff on Aug. 25.
As of about 1 p.m., more than 200 people were waiting behind barricades to get into the convention center, 2101 N. Oak St. Doors are expected to open at 3 p.m. and the rally is set to start at 7 p.m., officials have said.
