A Columbia restaurant known for chicken wings, tenders and more says it is closing its doors.

Spice Wing, which has been located at 4400 Fort Jackson Blvd. suite 600-B since 2023, has posted a letter on its door that it is closing. The restaurant has been located in a shopping center that includes a Marshalls, a Michaels and other businesses.

“After much consideration, Spice Wing Columbia has made the decision to permanently close its doors effective May 27, 2026,” read a notice of closure posted on the restaurant’s door Wednesday morning. “It has been our absolute pleasure serving this wonderful community. We are grateful for every customer that walked through our doors and made this journey worthwhile.”

Spice Wing, which has restaurants in a number of states, opened its Columbia location on Fort Jackson Boulevard, near Devine Street and Garners Ferry Road, in Nov. 2023. It was in a space that formerly had been a Smallcakes bakery location.

The Spice Wing menu includes a host of chicken wings in different flavors and heat levels, as well as chicken tenders, sandwiches, chicken and waffles and more.
