A search is underway for a missing South Carolina woman who hasn’t been heard from in more than a week.

Shane Michelle Comer was publicly reported missing Monday by the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. The 54-year-old’s family has not heard from the Columbia resident since June 14, the sheriff’s department said in a news release.
Comer’s family reported her missing to law enforcement Monday, according to the release.
Information about when, or where, Comer was last seen was not available.
There was no word if Comer was alone when she went missing. The sheriff’s department did not say if foul play was suspected in Comers’ disappearance.

The sheriff’s department described Comer as a 5-foot-5, 150-pound woman with green eyes.
Anyone who has seen the missing woman, or has information about her, is asked to call the sheriff’s department at 803-576-3000.
