Two dead after shooting at Columbia apartments, sheriff’s department says

Two people have died in a weekend shooting at a Columbia apartment complex.

Richland County Sheriff’s Department said in a release that deputies responded Saturday night to the Greenbrier Apartments at 100 Willow Oak Drive after a report of a shooting. That’s in northeast Columbia, just north of Intestate 20.

When they got there, deputies found two people who had been shot, the sheriff’s department said. Those individuals were pronounced dead at the scene, the sheriff’s department noted. A third person was taken to the hospital for injuries.

The Richland County Coroner’s Office identified the deceased as Quentin M. Wilson, 21, of Hopkins, and Toni M. Moseley, 20, of Columbia. Coroner Naida Rutherford said in a release that an active investigation remains underway.
