The S.C. Department of Transportation announced Friday that it was canceling the planned closure of the Interstate 26 eastbound exit at ramp 129 to Highway 21 in Lexington County. That closure was slated to start at 8 p.m. Friday and continue through the weekend until 6 a.m. Monday.
The closure would have served as part of a new ramp alignment plan. Other ramps at the interchange would remain open, and a detour would be put in place for the affected exit.
