The National Hurricane Season has been tracking the first two since last week, but it added the third one late Sunday night. As of Monday afternoon, none of the systems appear that they will pose a threat to Florida or the Caribbean anytime soon.
The first disturbance has the greatest chances of strengthening further into a tropical depression or storm this week: a 20% chance in the next two days and a 60% chance in the next seven, as of Monday afternoon.
Forecasters say this system is rolling west and could develop into a tropical depression by midweek. However, most long range storm models have continued to suggest that if this system develops it will likely hook north into the open ocean, avoiding Florida and the Caribbean.

The second system, which is a little farther east than the first, has a lower chance of development: just a 10% shot in the next two to seven days.
That’s because forecasters expect it to head straight west, toward the Antilles Islands, where a mess of storm-toppling wind shear awaits it. That should give it a short shelf life.
The third — and newest — system is on the other side of the ocean. A low pressure trough a few hundred miles north of Bermuda has a short window for development. Forecasters gave it only a 10% chance of strengthening in the next two to seven days, before it moves into waters that are too cold to support storms on Wednesday.
