A murder-suicide left a couple dead inside their Midlands home, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies discovered the deceased couple after responding to a 911 call at residence on Drayton Drive in Dalzell, according to a news release. The couple was identified as Thomas and Elaine Rosbach.
Following an investigation and autopsy, investigators concluded that Rosbach called 911 before shooting her husband and then herself, the release said.

A note was found at the scene that was consistent with a murder-suicide, according to the release.
