Dunkin’, the ubiquitous coffee and donut restaurant chain with locations across the nation and South Carolina, is bringing a new location to Clemson Road, according to a recent social media post from construction firm Mimms Contracting. Photos in the social media post show the Dunkin’ will be on an outparcel at the Magnolia Pointe shopping center at 2000 Clemson Road.
That shopping center, which is near the intersection of Clemson and Hard Scrabble roads, includes a Dollar Tree, a Hibbett Sports and other businesses.
“Mimms Contracting is excited to be working on the new Dunkin’ location coming to Clemson Road!,” the contracting company said on Facebook. “Site work is underway, and things are officially starting to take shape. There’s a lot that happens before the walls ever go up, and our team is hard at work laying the groundwork for what’s to come.”

There are more than 10,000 Dunkin’ locations across the U.S., per data website ScrapeHero, making it one of the most visible restaurant franchises in the nation. The shops are known for their donuts, hot and iced coffees, breakfast sandwiches, refreshers, teas and more.
The new Dunkin’ will be coming to a high-traffic area in northeast Columbia. About 25,000 cars per day travel down that section of Clemson Road, per state Department of Transportation data, while more than 28,000 cars per day traverse Hard Scrabble Road nearby.
