The new SteelFab operation will be at 1030 Metso Way, just off Two Notch Road, in northeast Columbia, according to a news release. Operations are expected to begin there by the end of the year.

SteelFab Inc. manufactures fabricated structural steel and steel products. It has 18 facilities across the U.S., and several in South Carolina. The Richland County facility will “strengthen the company’s manufacturing capabilities for the construction industry,” Tuesday’s release noted.
