Advance Auto Parts, which has locations across the U.S., is planning a spot at 2349 Augusta Road in the Westside Plaza shopping center. There is a large banner posted on the front of the store that says Advance Auto Parts is “coming soon.” Prep work was going on inside the space when a reporter briefly went by on Thursday morning. An opening date for Advance has not been publicly announced.

The Advance Auto location would be in a space that formerly was home to KJ’s Market grocery store. KJ’s closed in July 2025 after a number of years in business at that location. Before being a KJ’s, the space was home to a Bi-Lo supermarket.

The Westside Plaza shopping center is home to a number of well-known businesses, including a Hobby Lobby, a Harbor Freight, a Dollar Tree and other spots. Nearby businesses include a Taco Bell, a Walmart, a Chick-fil-A, a Planet Fitness and many other storefronts.
