Foodees Fest, a traveling food truck festival, will be coming to Batesburg-Leesville next month. The festival will feature more than 40 food trucks offering a variety of foods, from “savory BBQ and spicy tacos to sweet treats and refreshing beverages,” according to a press release.

Foodees Fest will be at the Lifelong Learning Center, 101 W. Columbia Ave., from Friday, Sept. 11, to Sunday, Sept. 13. Alongside the food trucks will be a handmade arts and crafts fair for local artists to sell their wares, the release said.
The festival tours the East Coast and will be visiting other stops in the Carolinas in September, including Charlotte, Gaffney and Asheville, according to Foodees Fest’s website.

No specific vendors are yet listed for September’s event, but the organizers promise to a “diverse culinary landscape and vibrant artistic community,” and “a platform for local vendors and artisans to showcase their talents.”
The Batesburg-Leesville dates for Foodees Fest will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 11, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 12 and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sept. 13.
