Details about when and where the event will be held haven’t been announced, but the South Carolina Republican Party announced Monday that Trump would make a rally appearance in Myrtle Beach. As a result, a U.S. Senate Stump Stop scheduled for Aug. 21 in Anderson County was postponed.

When her brother, longtime Senator Lindsey Graham, died last month, Darline Graham was appointed to the U.S. Senate. Lindsey Graham recently won his primary race, so a special election was held on Aug. 11 to nominate a primary replacement.

Even before Darline Graham announced plans to campaign for a full term, President Trump endorsed the first-time senator.

In her initial primary election, Graham took first place, but failed to cross the 50% threshold to automatically advance to the general election. With nearly 33% of primary votes, Graham will advance to the runoff election against Norman on Aug. 25.

Ahead of next week’s election, Trump will support Graham at a Myrtle Beach rally. It won’t be the first time the president campaigns in the Grand Strand. In his 2024 presidential election campaign, Trump spoke to thousands of supporters at Coastal Carolina University.

This is an evolving story. More details about Senator Graham’s Myrtle Beach rally with President Trump will be updated once they’re confirmed. Check back for updates.
