President Donald Trump is returning to the Grand Strand for the first time since 2024 to campaign with U.S. Sen. Darline Graham.

Trump’s appearance will be ahead of the Aug. 25 South Carolina Republican special election primary runoff.

In a post shared to social media Tuesday afternoon, Graham announced that Trump will appear in a rally at the Myrtle Beach Convention Center at 2101 N. Oak St. in Myrtle Beach on Friday, Aug. 21, at 7 p.m.

“I’m proud to be the only candidate in this race endorsed by President Donald J. Trump, and I’m honored that he will join us in Myrtle Beach this Friday to rally support for our campaign,” the post said. “I hope you’ll join President Trump and me for this historic event.”

Trump is stumping with Graham in her Republican primary runoff race against U.S. Rep. Ralph Norman. Gov. Henry McMaster appointed Graham to the Senate last month to complete her late brother Lindsey Graham’s term. Trump has supported Graham’s appointment and campaign for a full term.

As the most popular candidates to emerge in the Aug. 11 special primary election, both advanced to the runoff. Graham took first place with nearly 33% of primary votes, and Norman came in second with roughly 25% of the vote.
