One hundred and five people will be impacted by the PepsiCo bottling warehouse layoffs, according to a filed Aug. 18.
The reason for the layoffs remains unknown and PepsiCo did not respond to a request for comment.
The warehouse is located at 6925 North Main Street.
The warehouse was last in the news following the death of a worker using a forklift in 2022.

WARN notice
Employers generally must provide at least a 60 days’ notice before a mass layoff or plant closing affecting 50 or more employees occurs in any state the company operates in, under the federal WARN Act. The notice is intended to prepare workers for job loss while allowing state agencies to connect them with employment resources and training opportunities.
The Columbia layoffs follow another set in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where 184 warehouse employees were let go last month, according to a report.
