A growing coffee chain that has made moves in the Midlands this year has plans for a new location in a coming Target-anchored shopping center under development in Lexington, per public documents.

Dutch Bros Coffee, which has locations across the U.S. and in the Midlands, is planning a spot on an out-parcel at the coming Victory Village development in the 2500 block of Augusta Highway in Lexington. The Dutch Bros project at Victory Village is listed in the commercial projects section of the Lexington County Planning Commission’s September agenda packet. The county property tax map ID number in the packet indicates the Dutch Bros would be at 2552 Augusta Highway, near the roadway in front of the Target that is being built there.
The Victory Village development was initially announced for Augusta Highway, just west of Lexington High School, in 2025. A new Target store and an Academy Sports + Outdoors store are key anchors for the project, and construction on both of those are well underway, with work actively going on when a reporter rode by on Thursday morning.
Meanwhile, a Chipotle Mexican Grill and a Dave’s Hot Chicken also are each planned for the new shopping center, with a site diagram placing them at the southeast corner near Augusta Highway.
Dutch Bros, which has 1,000 locations across the U.S., has made a strong move into the Midlands this year.

Four new Midlands Dutch Bros drive-thrus opened after the chain acquired Clutch Coffee Co. in January, converting shops at 9349 Two Notch Road and 4716 Devine St. in Columbia, 308 Columbia Ave. in Lexington, and 1511 Lake Murray Blvd. in Irmo.
A new Columbia Dutch Bros location at 7001 Garners Ferry Road, just south of the Dorn Veterans Affairs Medical Center, opened its doors on June 19.
Also in Irmo, Dutch Bros built a shop at 10603 Broad River Road between a Wendy’s and a Biscuitville. And the chain also is planning a Lexington location at 5211 Sunset Blvd. next to the Lidl supermarket, on a road that carries more than 45,000 cars per day according to state Department of Transportation figures.
