A new clothing store has opened its doors inside Columbia’s busiest mall.
Designers Closet, which focuses on contemporary clothing and streetwear and has stores in several states, has opened its doors in the Columbiana Centre mall. The opening was announced on social media by the mall on July 27, as well as on Designers Closet’s social media.

“Designers Closet is NOW OPEN at Columbiana Centre — Sprayground, Purple Brand, Valabasas, Serenede, Vale Forever, Supreme & Bravest Bear Claws all under one roof,” Designers Closet said on Instagram, name-checking several of the brands the store carries.
The new clothing store is in the area of the mall that’s near Dillard’s. It’s in the storefront space between Aerie and Vans.

Designers Closet currently has locations in Florida, North Carolina and Georgia, including spots in the Northlake Mall in Charlotte and Augusta Mall in Augusta.
The Columbiana Centre mall remains a popular shopping hub, with a number of department stores, smaller shops, restaurants and other amenities. It is part of the larger Harbison commercial area northwest of downtown Columbia that is lined with big box stores, bars, eateries, hotels, movie theaters and more.
